Live in Bristol, so somewhere not too far away but do not mind a bit of a journey. Somewhere fairly secluded but close enough to walk to a pub!

l live in Bristol too!!
How about out by Longleat theres a huge lake etc and l know some friends used to camp out for fishing etc.
Or Symons Jack in Wales - l went there once doesnt take too long to get there and its really nice!

l used to live in Bristol the only camping l ever did was near Dundry.
My idea would be to find a good country pub and camp in their car park.Least that way after you've been to the pub you do not have far to fall.

l wouldnt bother with the tent, its a bit cold out there today, get yourself to Weston-Super-Mare, theres plenty of cheap b&bs on Locking Rd, not far from the local wetherspoons too..
