What does this entail, and how strict are they on whats you must do within CCF, eg. make a certain rank?

Cadet participants should undertake parts of the following programme appropriate to the stage reached in the Army Proficiency Certificate (CCF), & the rank held. All participants must undertake practical service in this Section.
1) Know the history of the CCF, & study the history of the service.
2) Study the history & customs of the Regiment or Corps of the cap badge worn (Army Sections).
3) Attain the minimum rank of Corporal (Army Sections), Sergeant (RAF Sections), Leading Rate (RN Sections) & hold the rank for at least 12 months.
4) Attend a Methods of Instruction or Special to Arms Cadre or Service equivalent & give at least 20 periods of instruction.
5) Pass the Advanced Standard of the APC (CCF) & complete at least 40 hours of service for the Contingent (e.g. staff cadet, storeman, office clerk, armourer).

Practical service could include carrying out duties of storeman, detachment clerk, training a group in APC subjects or The Duke of Edinburgh is Award or supervising Cadets on training exercises.
