l live in San Antonio & l can not think of anywhere that fits that description. l would call the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

There r gorgeous campgrounds with some cool cabins & campgrounds for rent right outside of Uvalde on the Rio Frio. The river is amazing. It is clear water with some of the biggest, one piece, solid rocks that I've ever seen. The cabins were not expensive at all, but l do not have the phone numbers anymore. Call Uvalde Chamber of Commerce.

Garner State Park is really good!!!! Every state park charges some fee per person and overnight stay.

In Austin.Perdernales Falls, Mc Kinney Falls is nice!
Inks Lake..Hill Country State Natural Area.
