how does it feel living in a cabin for a whole week

l loved it, no outside communications, no tv, no cell phone, just me and my wife it was our honeymoon

If you can get by with-out all the usual amenities, it is a blast. You'd be surprised at how restful it can be with out all the distractions of phones, television etc. Enjoy nature and tranquility and come back home with a new appreciation for what you have and you''ll be refreshed and ready to back to the business of everyday life. Sadly for me, it always took me the first week just to unwind, about the time l got to really enjoying it was time to go back. Have fun !

It feels almost as good as staying in a tent for a week!

Staying in a cabin is actually very nice. It is quite comfortable especially if the cabin has some of the ''luxuries''; electricity for running lights, fridge & stove. Running water is nice also but not a necessity, if water is available nearby.

Not knowing what ur particular cabin may have available, as far as creature comforts, it is hard to answer ur question completely. Some cabins also have indoor bathrooms, some don't. Some have all of the luxuries of a fine home, some r nothing more than a log shell with a fireplace & a couple bunk beds.

It takes about two weeks for me to really let go of the 'civilized' world. Once l settle in to the tranquillity, it really helps me to appreciate life more.

l think it is great. l attended Girl Scout camp as a kid; we slept in platform tents there; with a mosquito net to hang over the cot at night, we were fine. l slept in a barebones cabin for a summer as a counselor at that camp, and l thought it was great--at age eighteen, anyway!!

do you have a house? just like that but you can see the studs in the walls.

you wo not want to leave when it is over and you will be back again it just keeps getting better. PS you get what you put into it.

Just like it feels at home, but without the annoying computer, TV, telephone, video games, etc!
