What do you think about camping at clear lake state park in ca

Their are a lot nicer places to camp!! Go farther north to the Calif. redwoods..you wo not be disappointed

Go somewhere else! Especially if you're fishing. Clear Lake fish are loaded with toxic amounts of Mercury. Look around the Redding area and up around Mt. Shasta if you want nice camp grounds and fishing. Good Luck!

l have a very bad opinion about that entire area because when l used to live near there, every day you'd read in the newspaper about marijuana fields in the forests with armed guards, or some poor, unemployed-type person committing a crime, arrested for drug use, spousal abuse, theft, robbery, 4-wheel drive accidents, so l kind of think it is a dangerous place to go.
