Do you like to go camping.What is your favorite way (tent or rv) and what do you have and what size?Where do you like to go?

l love camping. If it is not too hot or cold, I'd prefer a tent. Otherwise, I'd rather have an RV. l only have a 5-person tent (also have a 2-person tent, but l rarely use that). My favorite camping spots are Big South Fork on the Kentucky-Tennessee line and Red River Gorge in KY ( l live in KY). Basically, anywhere with lots of woods and mountains.

l love going camping.. l like tent camping best.. that is the way it should be..ruffing it. l have 3 tents & a big familly so l have a nice 6 person tent for my husband myself & my smaller children, l have a large 12 person tent for the older boys, thier cousins, friends & whoever else we need a place to put.. then l have another 6 person tent that l loan to the inlaws if they choose to join us & do not have a tent of thier own. So far my favorite spot is Loon Lake in Oregon & Don Pedro Lake in California

To me RVing is not camping, but it is fun.

l like to rough it. Use a small one man tent because l do a lot of backpacking. l usually go the mountains for an extended stay. Usually stay all summer. l am a teacher and have the entire summer off, when l am not working on courses.

If you are going to tent, which l think is more fun, be sure you know what you are doing. See, your mother was right, you should have joined the Boy Scouts.

Love tent camping, l have a RE l base camp 6 great sturdy tent. Go anywhere.

We RV well trail trailer. It is 18 feet, can sleep 5-6 people. Done tent camping, did that last year. End of winter beginng of Spring we go to this lake when it opens up for Trout, go fishing. Go to this camp ground in a National Forest, love it. Then this weekend going down further and camping along this river.

Yes! Camping and mountaineering are my passion. l use a tent, small enough to accomodate my backpack and myself. Big tents wont last strong gust of wind and it is hard to locate a pitching site in wooded area. Big ones is also heavy and not space-saving. l always prefer rainforests with a height beyond 1,500 meters above sea level. The higher the better.

Love camping. Tent camping is the only way to camp. We have a 3 person tent. Any place is nice besides a public campground. l do not mind a public campground until bedtime. l am a light sleeper so every time someone unzips their tent or sneezes l hear it. If u r a first timer, l might suggest somewhere near civilization. Public campgrounds r not too bad if u look for one where the sites r private. Depending on ur location. We r from the Southwestern part of Virginia campgrounds & mountains r very easy to find.

My wife and l love RVing in our 5th Wheel. Its 29 ft with two slides. We love to go anywhere there are trees and woods. Our favorite spot this year was Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

We love RV camping, & live full time & travel in our 36' motor home. We're not into RV parks, or other designated campgrounds. Our RV is equiped with large fresh water & holding tanks, solar panels, satellite internet, & inverter so we can stay out for at least 14 days in a row. We search for dispersed campsites on public lands for our campsites as much as possible.

It may not sound like camping with all the comforts of home, but we prefer to think of it as our mobile 1 bedroom cabin. If we do not like the neighbors, or the neighborhood, we pack up & find better real estate to stay at.

In our younger days, backpack tent camping was the way to go, then a pop up camper, pickup camper, & now a class A motor home has been our evolutionary camping path.
