l am going camping and l do not know what to bring to eat. l am going camping for the weekend, so l will need 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch. l have an ice chest, but nothing to cook with. Someone there might have a Coleman stove to use.

Well u need a stove or u will be cooking over the fire. Do not forget to bring stuff for s'mores. Other than that, the easiest stuff to cook is something u can make in one pot or frying pan, omlettes, hash, stew, soup, chilli, hot dogs r ubiquitous camping food. You can also bring tinfoil & and wrap up meat or veggies in them. Carefully fold the tinfoil & place it near the fire & turn it every 1/2 hour or so. It is a long cooking process, but it is a nice, & relatively easy way to roast food, peppers, onions & potatoes r particularly tasty when prepared this way, meat, unless it is pre-cooked, will take much longer. Stuff to make sandwiches with would also be easy for the lunch u had in mind, & an instant pancake or crepe mix would hit the spot for breakfast when camping. Do not forget to bring some bacon, it is a necessity when camping.

Get yourself a cast iron dutch oven, a bag of charcoal, and a dutch oven cook book. You will eat like royalty and other campers will drool.

With that dutch oven you can make great meals in one pot. You can bake a cake, make frittatas, chicken potato bake, even make a cobbler using berries you picked while camping.

Easy clean up too.

Camping pizzas are the best for lunch or a campfire snack
Bread
Butter
Peperoni(?)
Moz. cheese
Jar of pizza sauce
Make like a grilled cheese in a pan

Hot dogs and hamburgers always a staple when camping
