l am a boyscout in Florida so I've been to some cool places, here is what l would recommend:

Blue Spring National Park: This is one of my favorite places to camp in Florida! It has a river (it is always 72 degrees because it is spring water so u stay nice & cool!) with an awesome headspring. The head spring is very wide & deep, so it is possible to go scuba diving in it (I've seen people do it). About every 2 minutes a giant jet of bubbles shoots up, it is pretty magnificent! There is also a dock that lots of people (my self included) do flips & dives off of into the water, that is pretty fun. There is lots of fish in the water (you can touch them easily because they r not scared!), & l even saw a group of manatees swim by once. Anyway, if ur looking for a good water-related camp ground in Central Florida, I'd say go with Blue Spring.

Here is a link to their site: http://floridastateparks.org/bluespring/

l load up the ole canoe and head out towards an island somewhere in the bay ''Tampa'' to call my own. l can tell you that nothing else gets my mind off of my problems more than that. Not to mention where l camp has some of the best fishing around.

Lake Lousia State Park. They have the best Primitive camping that l know. l just camped there last weekend. It has been my 3rd trip. Only 4 dollars per person. It is by lake and creek. You can call the ranger to reserve a spot. You do have to hike between 1/2 to 3/4 of mile to get to sights. Google ''Lake Lousia State Park''. It has all the info you need. l am from the Clermont area. Best hills in the state of Florida!
