My friend is writing a research paper on why people like to go camping. And he can not seem to find anything good. He needs to know what keeps people interested in camping, what factors or forces. What do they look for in camping? Why do they do it so much?

One chooses & follows a career path, one must overcome obstacles to arrive at a goal, & one ventures into the unknown in hopes of change, growth, & self-discovery. For many people, throughout history, the wilderness beckons, offering solitude, risk, a chance to prove oneself, & a chance to find oneself which is usually equated with finding enlightenment or inner peace. Some people find their peace in easier ways, but l fear those r falsehoods, drugs, self-delusion, etc, which is why l started out camping & have moved on to backpacking, & plan to dedicate more & more of my life to pursuit of life in the outdoors.

l like the solitude and beauty of nature. l often do challenging activities like climbing or hiking when l am out.nnIt also enables me to get off the computer and experience real life.and get away from the posers and cyber-doofuses on the net.
