l went camping a few nights ago and we had a campfire.The morning after my hair smelt of smoke really badly, but l assumed the smell would go once l washed it but l washed and dried it today and it still smells really bad. Does anyone no how long it will be like this for? And does anyone have a tips on how to mask the smell?

Wash it better, stinky!

Wash it again.
& use a fragranced shampoo. l like herbal essences ''drama clean'' shampoo & conditioner (the green bottle) its smells great!!!

when sitting by the fire check to see which way wind is blowing then sit by fire with wind on your back this should keep most of the smoke from blowing on to you or the easiest way is to not have a fire but use a calor gas heater

Next time you're around the fire, wear a hat. a beanie, bandana, or a baseball cap and keep your hair tucked up inside it.

l camp a LOT, and have pretty long hair.. I've never had the smell of the campfire persist past the first shampoo, though. Wash again, you will be fine.

Personally, l do not find the smell of a campfire offensive, but l know that deer do, and l am a hunter, so when l go to deer camp, l have to deal with this issue!

Take a handful of baking soda, maybe 3 tablespoons, and rub it through your wet hair. Wet the hair a little more until the baking soda dissolves, then rub it around all the way from the scalp to the tips of your hair, like you do when you shampoo. Rinse thoroughly. The smell will be gone.

The smell should come out in a couple of washes. Perhaps something is touching your hair that also got the smoke smell in it (pillowcase, hoodie, hair brush)?

keep washing it.. it will be gone within a week
