When l am in a strange city looking for free camping l utilize

camping on roof areas. Stone faced buildings r often the
easiest using technical climbing aids if free-climbing isn't
desired. Rooftops have wonderful views, warm pipes for
warming tents, & once static line is laid both rappell or
prusik equipment to speed evening pub crawl outings. I've
had mixed success with underside of shipping piers; the same tenting gear for vertical mountain faces works well,
birds or rodents r not bad, but any overhead stevedoring
can get quite noisy.

not familiar with segamat but had a great time in lankawi and in penang. my ex father-in-law told me about some spots near ipoh and some in port dixon.
