Veggie wraps with fresh vegetables are quick and easy to transport. Veggie chips, juices, and of course a decadent dessert is always a good idea. Have fun!

l am vegan & camp lots.

l bring lots of fresh veggies with me (potatoes, zucchini, peppers, onions, mushrooms) & l have a grill that folds & l brush my veggies with olive oil. l do the same thing with slices of tofu, veggie dogs & veggie burgers.

l cook everything on the fire.

If u do not have a grill, u can use aluminum foil.

When l was a vegger, l would bring cheese & bread & butter & make grilled cheese over the fire (holding it all together with s sticks shaped in a Y) & put butter on the outside of the break..loved that (cook it slowly) & now l do it with peanut butter & jam.

l like quick meals, but l also like healthy meals. Bring lots of snakes, fresh fruit & trail mix is something that l always bring.

good luck.

You can make a tasty vegeyable stew by cutiing up potoatoes, carrots, celery, etc. with you favorite seasonings and wrap them up in a double thickness of aluminum foil. Be sure to seal the sides of the packet tightly so that the steam does not escape. Cook on campfire coals or charcoal abut 15 minutes per side.Open and enjoy---YUM!

Pasta, Rice & Beans, Oatmeal, and Lentils are some of my staple camping foods..and l am not even a vej. l think you will be able to cook just about anything you eat at home.

If backpacking.there are many backpacking dinners available from Mountian House and Backpacker is Pantry that are vegetarian.

Also.most Clif bars and Luna bars are vegan. l never go camping without them.

clean and cut up the veggies before you go camping. So you do not have to worry about doing that when your there.

Just like l do at home l can cook anything out on an open flame or on a camp stove. No difference but the cooking time might be longer or shorter. Cook whatever you like nothing is off limits when out in nature if you want to pack it in to you camp then it can be cooked.

If you are car camping, anything goes!

If you are backpacking, dehydrated soups from the health food bins, dehydrated beans, bulgar, instant hummus, dehydrated split peas, instant brown rice, etc. carry well & are light.
