If so, what and where was it.

l hate camping, so every camping experience was a bad one.

Now l just do not do camping.

Branson Missouri. We rented a pop up camper. The metal frame broke and we had to hold up the top with two by fours. Needless to say, those wer not very stable and collapsed on us in the middle of the night. Next night, we discovered a skunk was sleeping underneath our camper. We we're all afraid to get in and out of it because of getting sprayed! We called the camping venture Branson, ''Misery''.

Boundary Waters (Minnesota/Canada border). It would have been pretty cool, but we did not plan it out very well, and canoed 15 miles the first day. After that we were exhausted, but still had a ways left to go. There were also some pretty nasty thunderstorms that week, so it made for an interesting story.

Well my dad had to do a survivor camp while he was in the army.

He told me some guy wiped his butt with some poison ivy.

I've a couple bad ones but that has not stopped me from doing it.. l LOVE CAMPING>>> l remember the very first time l went on a camping/canoe trip we were all new at it.. & l wore jean shorts on the river & wet jean shorts do not dry fast & that caused chafing,, then l fried cause l dint wear enough sun block, & l wore flip flops in the river which got sucked off my feet & went with the current(lost those) so l was shoeless till we got back to campsite, then l started my period, then we had a very little two man tent & l t was so hot, & being sunburned on top of that>>>> l was miserable. But l just learned from the experience!!

l went on a backpacking trip for two nights with some friends along the Pacific coast. Everything went fine, until we headed back. We woke up late, missed the low tide, and had to wait several hours before the tide went out enough to hike back. And we did not have enough food, or water. And it was raining, of course. So we were cold, very hungry, and very thirsty, and did not get home until 4am.

Actually, it was still a fun trip overall.

A bear at our food that we thought was safe hanging from a tree branch.
l was sprayed by a skunk.
A severe thunderstorm at night was shooting lightening all around us, limbs were breaking off the trees & trees were blown over.
We thought lightening would strike a tree next to us & we would get electrocuted through the wet ground.
The tent started to leak & started to fill with rain because the whole area was a low spot that was not draining.
Everything was wet & mosquitoes were ravenous after the rain stopped.
We were lost for two days.
But it did not make me give up camping.

2 times, both at Shabbona State Park, Illinois. Once it poured rain for three days(at least the tent did not leak); once the temp. dropped from 75 degrees during the day to 20 degrees at night, with a 40 degree summer sleeping bag and one kerosene lantern in the tent for heat(it raised the temp. 1 degree)

ware to start. one time we stayed in a pop up for deer hunting in northern Wis/ had to sleep in our deer suits & boots. & woke up with frost on us. that week sucked for sleep. all my camping is done in Wis. this other time we hit 2 deer at one time rolled the car. & had to wait for the dnr over knight pretty chilly night. & no beer to top it off. then one time the fire department came & made us put our fire out. l guess there was a fire danger. storms l seen lighting hit a tree 15 yards from my camper. very loud the hair on my body was all standing. smoked like crazy.run out of beer every time l go l bring more it still is never enough.and that is when things go bad!!!!

Umm ya totally. when we went camping there was always a squrielhanging around & one guy started feeding him...(guy r so stupid) & this thing never left him alone. Around 2 weeks later with this squeriel never leaving the guy started getting mad. So some how the squeriel manged to get inside his trailer....in the morrning when he woke up it was sitting on his forehead & bitt him on the end of the nose. Umm he killed it. LOL l kno it did not happen to me but l really kno the guy well. l laughed SOOO hard.

Crater lake Ntl. Park, Oregon. Tent camping with my brother. A noise woke me up in the middle of the night. l looked around in the dark & saw my brother eating the food at the pick nick table.

l thought l would scare him by sneaking up on him & grabbing him.

l threw my arms around him & screamed to scare him. l immediately knew l had done wrong when l realized l had hold of a live fur rug.

The bear spun & ran away at the same time l reached the far side of the pick up & climbed inside.

Bro still laughs at the time l scared the bear.

Camping really sucks. It jus separates you from the real world and takes you into this pathetic situation were ur completely vulnerable. Every other camping trip Ive been on jus leavs me with a new desire to hate camping even more.

Yeah,
every time l go to a State or National Park and camp next to assholes who blare their televisions and run their generators all night long!

yes here in arkansas l had a baby bear come in & get my chex mix along with a ratcoon & sat down & ate all the chex mix & then got in to the candy bars l was like so scaried l froze & when he finished the candy bar , making a mess he layed down at my feet as if he was going to bed my heart beated so hard it felt like it was comming out of my chest after a while which seem forever he got up & looked at me & left , the rangers said they were used to people & wouldnt bother with them but they just dont come up to u like out in the open & so on ,, l think l didnt sleep for days & it stunk so bad my tebt & blanks stunk so bad ,, l could wash them l was afraid the smell would get in my washer & l was still shock for months after that l would wake up at home & think l saw it again ,,lol

l was out camping once and we got 50mph straight line winds. It poored and it was just horible. Our tent got bent and was covered in mud and sticks and all kinds of junk. So we fixed things up as good as we could and then we kept having fun. No big deal.
