If she is young, be sure to take something from home like her favorite doll or blanket. It will help a lot.

The usuals:
tent. Do not forget a rubber mallet to pound in the tent pegs. A small dustpan & hand broom helps keep it clean too.
sleeping bags
air mattress or foam pad
clothes (bring extra socks & underwear)
food
foil (it can be used in many different ways)
pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils & at least 8oz size cups.
a couple of gallons of water for each of you
bug spray. DEET works best
good shoes or sandals
s'mores fixins & the long forks for the marshmallows.
flashlight, glowsticks or an LED lantern work nice in the tent
extra batteries
biodegradable camp soap & hand sanitizer
plastic dish scrubber
towels u do not mind getting dirty (Goodwill is great for these)
50 feet of rope. This comes in real handy as well.
matches or lighters & some old newspaper.
firewood
tablecloth
a camera
first aid kit
a couple of books
garbage bags
a sharp pocket knife or multi tool
hygiene things like toothpaste & brushes.

Set up ur tent in ur back yard first. That way ur familiar with how it goes together & if any parts may be missing u can take care of it before u head out.
