l wanna go camping in cornwall, proper camping with a tent, a fire some fishing away from anyone else. somewere like a forest/woodland. does anyone know were l can go and if l need any permits

Lighting fires in a public place is illegal, we camped in a small wood in the middle of nowhere in cornwall, halfway through the night the police and fire service turned up.
£150 fine and a large bollocking.

Many Cornish farmers would gladly allow u to put up a tent in there field for free, if u just turn up & ask, u will need a fishing licence for local rivers, also check some rivers or rather sections of rivers have been bought up by fishing clubs. There is usually a sign to tell you, on the bridges, on the section of river u r thinking of fishing.
The only problem is finding an original cornish farmer or landowner, as most places, have been bought up by people, moving down from up country.

small farms are your best bet, they only charge a couple of quid and provide a dodgy loo and maybe fresh eggs.

have you thought about beach camping? some beaches in cornwall are cool for camping (Seaton is my local one) and good for fishing too. So long as you clean up after! Seaton has a fab beach cafe in case you dont manage to catch anything
