Well, l guess that depends on what you all like to eat. We always take turkey hotdogs with us and we eat cereal and stuff in the mornings. Might wanna take some snack foods and drinks. Marshmallows? Look up some camping recipes that you think would sound good and go off of those. be creative. Try something different!

Can goods, popcorn, eggs , soft drinks, coldbrew tea. It depends on how primitive the trip will be.

A good buck knife, fry pans, oil, loads of ice, aluminum foil, fishing equipement, ziplock bags, clean clothes, soap for dishes, bottles of water, silver/plasic ware and dishes.

l hate camping. Give me a hotel anytime.

We just got back from a week of camping. My favorite item this trip was liquid eggs. The kind you get in a carton. This one was called south western and had a tiny bit of green and red pepper in it. Equivalent to 10 eggs. Perfect for 2 adults and 1 kid. No cracking eggs or broken eggs in the cooler.

What kind of camping? Car camping or hike camping?
If it is car camping, then u can quite honestly prepare most of what u r going to eat before u leave on ur trip, then package it appropriately so that cooking/clean up is easy. There r plenty of websites out there that can give u recipies. Plan out all of ur meals. Breakfast & Dinner will likely be ur biggest meals depending upon what u have planned for the day. Keep lunch easy (sandwiches) so u can be on the go.
If u plan on hike camping then this will require more research b/c it sounds like u havnt done this before.

Suggest you check a library for a copy of an 'older' edition of the ''boy scout handbook''.
l suggest the older editions because they show much useful information on 'homemade' items as they were written BEFORE you could buy everything, (except common sense and experience.)
