good places to camp in michigan

There is a nice campground on the Lelanau Peninsula, near Traverse City. l also enjoyed a site in Tawas, between Tawas Bay and Lake Huron. Or check out Harrisburg also on Lake Michigan, those are all State Park lake sites l have liked.

What are you looking for? There are also some really great places in the Upper Peninsula, which is much more wild and rugged than the lower peninsula.

im from M l and for what l have noticed all state campgrounds are great. l have been to travers city state park, houghton and higgens state park and what l really liked if clear lake state park which is north of atlanta (go there) the lake is great and it is very peacefull

Keep in mind that all the good spots will be reserved in advance.

Ludington, Harrisville, PJ Hoffmaster would be my choices, but these may not have what you're looking for.
