Something that keeps well without a fridge and is quick and easy to make would be the best, But any suggestions are welcome.

A big can of beef stew! Easy to heat up, gives loads of energy. It can also be eaten cold right out of the can but does not taste as good that way.

I've gotten hooked on the instant mashed potatoes that already have butter, salt and seasonings mixed in. All you have to do is add water and you've got some gourmet mashed spuds! Lots of carbs, lightweight, easy prep, easy clean.

Breakfast- oatmeal, pancakes
Lunch- Grilled cheese is really easy to make-- or hot dogs
Dinner- campfire stew
Dessert- banana boats, or peach cobbler- you take out the pit of a peach, put a little butter/brown sugar inside of it and then put the peach back together and wrap it in aluminum foil and let it cook on the fire till its soft

You can make pretty mucha nything while camping

Tin foil dinners make a great meal. Place a layer of sliced onions, carrots, potatoes, & celery in the center of a large sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil. On top of veggies, place ur favorite cut of meat. Chicken works best for me & l usually did 2 small breasts. Add some seasoning & a little bit of water & you're ready. Fold on all sides to make a sturdy pouch & place in freezer bag for storage/transport. Once u have a good fire, shovel some coals off to the side & place ur foil pack directly on them. Place a few more coals around & on top of foil pack. In 30-45 minutes, u should have a tasty dinner. Eat right out of the foil pack.

Also, take along granola bars, canned beans, onions, salt, pepper, peanut butter, eggs, & bread. Oranges & apples make great snacks & u can eat healthy too. Enjoy!

brown 1/2 lb to 1 lb of ground beef or turkey along with a 1/2 of the package of taco seasonings and add a can of no beans chili. Heat until warm. Each person pours some over tortilla chips and shredded cheese, lettuce, chopped tomatoes and onions, salsa or what ever else you want.

Marshmallows over the campfire!

Make sure you take some things that do not have to be cooked in case it is raining and you can not get the fire lit. l like to take salami or pepperoni, hard cheese, and crackers.
