how can l not get sick everytime l go camping in a tent. going camping in less then 11 days
i mean l catch a cold. l cough and my noose gets runny. l get a sore throat, fever. ect... would taking something help??

There must be a reason why u r getting sick & trying to figure out why is the key.

It could be the food - make sure u eat well cooked & good food - nothing unusual from what u normally eat

It could be that u do not drink enough - drink when u r thirsty

It could be that u get cold at night - make sure u r warm

Where u camp might be contaminated (unusual though) with things like animal droppings so avoid fields where animals have been recently


But really - it would be better if u could describe ur illness to us better to give us a clue to help u better

Check you tent and other camping gear. Make sure they are not suffering from mold or mildew as this will make you feel ill also.Dress for the weather on your next trip . Take along some meds in case you need to take them to make you feel better.

Do you take any vitamins? Maybe some extra vitamin c would help.Maybe you are having allergies and not a cold at all, most of your symptoms could be both. Have you ever tried an allergie pills? Hope this may help, and try and have a good time camping.

This happens to many people who get sick just in time for a holiday or vacation & it has to do with the effect of anxiety (fear of future hurt) & other stress on the immune system. l know because l used to be the same way & would often wake up the morning of my trip, or the next morning with an impending feeling in my throat that would often blossom into a full blown cold.

The solution is to relax! Maybe you're putting too much pressure on yourself to have the greatest time ever, to have everything be perfect, to not forget anything, for nothing to go wrong, or similar unreasonable expectations. Some methods of relaxation that work for me include deep breathing meditation, having a packing list & checking it twice & making lists for things l must not forget as l leave the door.

Also, I've kind of gained perspective as I've gotten older, that the worst that could happen is you'd die doing something u loved, & if u think about it, when things go wrong is where memories r made & what brings people closer together.

l am glad u care about ur health & r trying to prevent this from happening. Tents r bad for the fall-winter, so l suggest getting a cabin & or camper. If u have a cabin or camper bring enough blankets [Maybe 3],turn on the heat, & wear heavy clothes [Maybe sweat pants & a long sleeved shirt], do not forget to wear & bring socks [Thick & thin]. If u r in a tent follow the same procedures above. Maybe if u could eat a heated foodsnack before bed [Like hot chocolate or coffee. Maybe even macaroni or pasta.] u would not be cold. Everytime l drink hot chocolate, l am hot for the next 10 minutes. You should bring an air matress or a sleeping bag. Lay on at least 2 blankets if u can not use one of those. Camping is fun when u r not sick, hurt, or bored. Be sure to bring ur favorite book, a board game or cards, something u like to do [Puzzles, video game, portable radio or tv, scrapbook, or anything else.] Its also fun during the day time to listen for certain bird songscalls & find cool leaves. It does not matter how old u are, u can still have fun. HAVE A GOOD TIME HOPE l HELPED :]

could be allergies. dress warm bring some meds so if u start getting sick take some.. have fun and hopefully you dont get sick
