l have a school camp in Brocken Bay, NSW, Australia where we have to either canoe or hike first. Both are the same distance. We're to canoe in groups of 2. When we get there we're gonna tent there for a night, then travel back to the cabins. Which do you think is better for a yr. 9 school camp? Btw, we're sleeping in groups of 4 in a 2 person tent, so its gonna be squishy.

Canoe first because you will get there faster and have more time there. Sleep 2 people in the tent and 2 just ouside for more room, It prbably wo not be rainng.

There is a good chance you will get wet on your paddling section.
You must decide if you want wet clothes to carry on your day 2 or at the end of the trip.
l would have hiked first and enjoy a more relaxing paddling 2nd day getting wet.
